Check out the 50 for 50 Exhibit at LACMA for LACMA's Anniversary! If you are visiting Los Angeles and are interested in visitng a museum, consider stopping by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, also known as LACMA. LACMA is the largest art museum in the Western United States and holds over 120,000 pieces of work ranging from ancient times to the present. In order to celebrate its 50th anniversary, LACMA is hosting its latest exhibit entitled “50 For 50: Gifts On the Occasion of LACMA’s Anniversary”. This exhibit will be on display from now until September 13th so head over to LACMA today!
The exhibit will showcase all the pieces of art that have been donated to the museum in honor of the 50th anniversary. In addition, they will also be highlighting the many bequests given by A. Jerrold Perenchio including masterpieces from the 19th and 20th centuries. These include works by artists such as Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Edgar Degas, Edouard Vuillard and many others. Spanning across a variety of cultures and centuries, the exhibition will feature the gifts that have been donated by more than 25 donors. There are a number of masterpieces that will be on view by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, Claude Monet, and Andy Warhol.

- Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 11am – 5pm
- Friday from 11am – 8pm
- Saturday and Sunday from 10am – 7pm.
- Wednesdays- Closed
