Award-Winning Singer Audra McDonald will perform the 'American Classics' in Hollywood! The Hollywood Bowl is home to the LA Philharmonic during the summer season and is one of the most visited outdoor venues in the area. This summer season they have an incredible lineup scheduled with some of the most talented performers around to grace the stage of the theater. On September 1st and 3rd come and hear classic American songs being performed by the LA Philharmonic featuring Audra McDonald and the American Ballet Theatre. The setlist for this performance includes songs such as “I Could Have Danced All Night” from My Fair Lady, “Moon River” from Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and “Climb Ev’ry Mountain” from The Sound of Music. Singer Audra McDonald will be accompanying the LA Philharmonic. She is an incredibly talented soprano that has won 6 Tony Awards and is the only person to have won in all four acting categories. By the time she was 28 she had already won 3 Tony Awards for her performance in Master Class, Carousel, and Ragtime. The American Ballet Theatre will also be  a part of the musical celebration. Bernstein’s Fancy Free will be played while the Ballet Theatre brings to life the music with its original choreography from 1944. Enjoy seeing the music performed as it was originally intended.
