Budget Friendly West Hollywood Vacation Ideas

Just because you’re staying in Los Angeles doesn’t mean you have to break the bank. In fact, there are a number of budget friendly activities to enjoy around Hollywood. Add on to the savings when you choose an affordable Hollywood hotel like Best Western Sunset Plaza Hotel.

West Hollywood is home to The Comedy Store - one of the most well known comedy clubs in Los Angeles. At this location, there is always a wide range of shows that are going on so whenever you want to see a show, there will likely be something going on! The location is known for bringing in both big name comedians as well as up and coming special guests, all for a great price. In fact, past shows of famous comedians such as David Spade, Dane Cook, Margaret Cho, Jeff Garlin and Andy Dick have all started at only $20. If $20 is too much, be on the look out for “The $1 Comedy Show”. This special event is a 21 and over event that usually takes place once a month. Visit their official website to learn more!

For a FREE activity that allows you to get outdoors and enjoy nature year round, head over to Runyon Canyon located in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. Runyon Canyon is a popular destination due to the fact that it is a relatively easy trail loop that is 3 miles and takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete. The trail is dog friendly, it’s easy to access since it’s in the heart of Hollywood, it’s free, and the fact that it is a frequent destination for celebrities probably doesn’t hurt either. Just some of the celebrities that have been spotted at Runyon Canyon include Justin Bieber, Natalie Portman, Orlando Bloom, Alexander Skarsgard, Channing Tatum, Lauren Conrad and many more. Runyon Canyon is open 7 days a week from dawn to dusk and located at 2000 N. Fuller Ave.
