Chill Bars to Visit in Hollywood

Chill Hollywood Bars

‍One of the great things about Los Angeles is that the city offers so much to both locals and visitors alike. From famous eateries in Los Angeles to exciting nightclubs, there is always something to do. If you happen to be in the mood for something a little more relaxing and just want to hang out with friends for a drink, consider heading over to some of these chill destinations in the city.

You’ve probably heard of speakeasies, but have you heard of the modern, 70s twist of the speakeasy? If not, you’ll want to head over to Good Times at Davey Wayne’s. This 70s theme bar has everything down from the shaggy carpet to 70s themed electronics and decorations inside the bar. When you head to this bar promising good times, you won’t actually find a door out front. Instead, you’ll find what looks like a garage sale and you’ll want to head to the refrigerator. Open the door and then walk through the fridge and head into the bar for good times!

Want to relax? Then head to The Den on Sunset where you can enjoy comfy booths, a fireplace, or sit out on the patio and enjoy the firepit. This American style destination is known for their delicious flatbreads and sandwiches as well as their incredible outdoor patio. You really don’t want to miss it. Stop by for Happy Hour, Monday through Friday from 5-7pm and Saturdays from 3-5pm.

What better way to relax than by sipping on a cold brew straight from the tap? The Surly Goat is West Hollywood’s, neighborhood craft beer destination. They have over 25 drafts available at any given time. So whether you’re in the mood for a stout, porter, IPA, Pilsner, Hefeweizen or more, you’ll find what you’re looking for at the Surly Goat. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 4pm-7pm.

The Pikey offers an English style gastropub without having to leave the comforts of home. Located on Sunset Blvd, this pub serves up dishes created from only local and organic ingredients. Here, you can enjoy brunch, lunch, dinner and even a Sunday Roast! Happy Hour is available 7 days a week from 4pm-7pm. There is also a dog friendly patio that is open until 2am.
