Sometimes, what you need is a little bit of country music and some line dancing to have a good time. Luckily, Los Angeles has their fair share of country bars that you and your friends can enjoy. Check out some of these popular bars serving up good drinks and good times.


Saddle Ranch Hollywood

The saddle ranch is the perfect place for when you’re looking for a little bit of country fun. You can enjoy dinner including favorites such as steak and ribs, cocktails and beer at the bar, and country rock n’ roll. There’s even a mechanical bull for anyone who is brave enough to try! On some nights, they even have karaoke so you can sing to your heart’s content, or just watch other people sing. Signature cocktails include the Gold Rush, which is saddle ranch’s own margarita and the Bull Fighter, with southern whiskey, gin, melon liqueur and pineapple juice.


Oil Can Harry’s

Have you ever had the urge to go line dancing? Or maybe you already love it and just don’t know where to go. Well, head over to Oil Can Harry’s where on Friday Nights, enjoy line dancing from 8pm to 2am! From 8pm to 2am there’s open dancing and starting at 9pm there’s line dancing lessons. From 9pm - 1:30am there’s also karaoke in the loft. The bar even has two stepping lessons as well as on Tuesday nights and open country dancing from 9pm - 12:30am Tuesdays. Don’t miss out on all the fun!


Cowboy Palace Saloon

The Cowboy Palace Saloon is the place for all your country dancing needs. If you’re new to the genre, enjoy beginning line dancing on Wednesday and Thursdays. Here you can learn dances such as the Cowboy Hustle, 10 step, power jam, black velvet, slappin’ leather and of course, the electric slide. Lessons are from 6-7pm. Every Sunday there’s also line dance lessons from 4:30 to 6pm. Dance lessons are just $10 and you get two drink tickets included!
