The Los Angeles Art Walk takes place every 2nd Thursday of the month. Read on to learn more.

During the LA Art Walk, around 20-30 art galleries are made open to the public. It’s a time for locals and visitors to get an inside look at the art that is being created at these studios. The event is open from 12pm to late night. If you want to avoid the crowds, it’s best to come earlier as it gets busy toward the night. If it’s your first time, you may want to consider stopping at the Art Walk Lounge first. Here, you can get a map showcasing the areas of where the galleries are open. The Art Walk Lounge is only open from 6pm - 10pm. During every Art Walk event, guests will also have the opportunity to go on a tour of a gallery. If you are a newcomer to the event, the guided tour might just be the thing for you.

The Downtown Art Walk Gallery Tour will take you to must-see exhibits and other events that are taking place on Art Walk night. You’ll even be able to meet some of the artists, curators and even gallery owners who help make these events possible. Your knowledgeable guide will also teach you about the history of the Downtown arts community as you explore the various art pieces. Tickets for the tour start at just $25 and is limited to just 20 people so book your tour early if you’re interested.
