The 3rd Annual Off the Hook Seafood Festival is once again heading to the Santa Monica Pier. This one day only event is held in honor of National Seafood Month so you’ll be sure that you’ll enjoy some of the best of seafood at this event. As you enjoy seafood tastings, listen to the live music, try your luck at some games, enjoy the interactive displays, watch the annual oyster shucking competition and more! The event is on Saturday, October 14th from 4-7pm. Tickets start at only $50.

Is Halloween your favorite season? Do you enjoy the thrill of being frightened? If so, be sure to attend the Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights. At their annual event, during select nights in October, the park transforms at night into a horrifying area where all your nightmares come true. This year, there will be 8 terrifying mazes themed after movies and television shows such as The Shining, American Horror Story: Roanoke, Saw, and Insidious. If you’re in the mood for a halloween party, look no further than the annual WeHo Halloween Carnaval. Held in West Hollywood, this is the biggest Halloween event held in the entire country. Party the night away with an estimated crowd of 500,000. This year, the event will take place on Tuesday, October 31st from 6-11pm. The block party takes place over a stretch of Santa Monica Blvd and the event is FREE. Stop by and enjoy the music, dancing and crazy costumes.

Over the past few months, you’ve probably heard of the breakout musical, Hamilton. The musical that took broadway by storm has finally made its way to the west coast and will be performing at the Pantages Theatre from now until December 30th.
