Sometimes getting around the city can quickly become expensive. If you are trying to figure out which tourist destinations to go to, keep in mind that there are a number of free options to enjoy while in the city. Here are some FREE museums that you can find in the LA area while you stay in hotels near Sunset Blvd.

The Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust is located at the Pan Pacific Park. This moving museum commemorates the stories of those who perished and honors the survivors of this trying time in history. Every Sunday, a survivor comes to the museum and shares his or her experience during wartime. Afterward, there will be a Q&A session. The California Science Center is one of the biggest hands-on Science Center in the entire West Coast. This free museum is a great place to bring friends and family for an interactive experience where you can learn a variety of different things. Admission to the Science Center is FREE for all permanent exhibits. Some of the permanent exhibits include learning about ecosystems, air and space, and a number of live demonstrations. The Annenberg Space for Photography is a cultural destination that exhibits both print and digital photography. The space includes some traditional prints by some of the most renowned photographers in the world as well as by art from local emerging talent. The Annenberg Space for Photography is open Wednesday - Sunday from 11am-6pm. The space is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
