The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a public sidewalk that stretches down Hollywood Blvd as well as Vine Street. Along these sidewalks, you’ll see the names of Hollywood’s biggest stars. Whether it be stars from Movies, Television, Music Performances or Theater, this is how celebrities are honored. When you come down to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, try and find your favorite stars and snap the perfect picture to remind you of your time in Hollywood!
If you’re in Hollywood, checking out the historic Hollywood Sign is a must. The sign first started off as an ad campaign for a new housing development that would be called “Hollywoodland”. The sign was put up in 1923 and even though the housing project was never actualized, the “Hollywood” from the original ad was kept up. A great view of the sign can actually be seen from the corner of Hollywood and Vine. A trip to the Griffith Park Observatory also offers clear views of the sign, and the best part is - all these options are FREE.
