Hollywood Bowl events are extensive but you're in for a treat this summer! Lionel Richie is one of the most well known musical artists of our time. In fact, over his career, he has sold over 100,000 million records worldwide, which makes him one of world’s best selling artists of all time. Lionel Richie has announced that this summer, he is going on an all new North American tour - All the Hits. On this tour, Mariah Carey will also be a special guest. Lionel Richie’s All the Hits Tour is exactly that, he will perform some of his greatest hits that he has had throughout his musical career. When you attend this concert, you can hear him perform songs such as “All Night Long”, “All Around the World”, “Just for You” and “Running with the Night” among many others. Lionel Richie will also perform songs that were made famous during Lionel Richie’s time in the Commodores. Songs originally performed by the Commodores that he may likely perform on the tour include, “Brick House”, “Three Times a Lady” and “Sail On”. Musician Mariah Carey is known for her incredible range as well as songs such as “Touch My Body”, “Always Be My Baby” and “We Belong Together”.

Lionel Richie first came onto the musical scene as a member of the popular soul and funk band, the Commodores. The band got it’s start in 1968, and while they had moderate success, Lionel Richie soared into stardom after announcing his solo career which began in 1982. In 1985, he also co-wrote with Michael Jackson, the hugely popular charity song, “We Are the World”, which helped put him on the map even more.
