West Hollywood is great for a number of things including bars, shops and west hollywood late night food. However, there is more to West Hollywood and the surrounding area than just bars and shops. In fact, there are a number of places that you probably have never heard of such as the Lost Spirits Distillery. This unique distillery is known for their secretive tour that must be experienced to be believed.

The Lost Spirits Distillery Tour is unlike anything you’ve experienced before. You’ve probably gone on tours of distilleries or breweries before but none like this. In fact, the distillery is located deep in a jungle and is only accessible by a river. The distillery is not open to the public and you can only gain access by making a reservation online. Your tour will take you on a journey through the distillery, lab and surrounding terrain and lasts 2 hours on average. The tour is only open to those 21 and over.

The Lost Spirits Distillery offers rums and malts, many of which have won best in class awards including the title “global master of innovation” by The Spirits Business Magazine. While they explore many different options, the Lost Spirits Navy Rum is their flag ship spirit. During your tour, you’ll explore the laboratory where you’ll learn all about the unique process that must take place to create their one of a kind rums. Starting from raw materials of molasses, yeast and water, the end result is a rum unlike any you’ve ever tasted. Everything is made in limited runs, by hand and in small quantities in order to ensure the perfection of each bottle. You can learn more about the their process in their exciting tour. If you are 21 and over and are looking for something exciting and new to enjoy, consider going on the Lost Spirits Distillery tour. The distillery is located at 1235 E 6th Street in L.A.
