One of the great things about Los Angeles is that there is always so much to learn. The city offers a number of museums about a variety of topics from science to history to culture. If you have been waiting for a reason to visit a particular museum don’t wait any longer because the Museums Free-For-All day is heading to Los Angeles. On January 30th, admission to participating museums will be completely FREE! If you will be staying at one of the hotels near California Science Center or any of the other museums participating in this event, be sure to take advantage!
Over twenty museums throughout the Los Angeles area has agreed to participate in the Museums Free-For-All day. That means you get to explore from a number of great museums. Have you been wanting to be inspired by art lately? Than head over to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Interested in learning more about space? Than take a quick trip to the California Science Center. Looking to experience architecture? Than the Getty Center is the place for you. No matter your interest, there is sure to be something for everyone. Other participating museums include, The Museum of Tolerance, the Natural History Museum, the Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits, the Paley Center for Media, the Annenberg Space for Photography, the Autry Museum of the American West, The Broad, Descanso Gardens, the Japanese American Museum and many more.Guests are encouraged to ride the Metro to get to their various locations during this Free-For-All event. For many of these destinations, it is only a short walk to the museum from a Metro stop. Museums Free-For-All is only good for regular admission at participating museums. It does not apply to special exhibits that may need a separate ticket. Regular parking fees still apply as well.
