Staying in Los Angeles means that there are a number of attractions in Hollywood to see. One place to visit is Universal Studios Hollywood where there is so much to do and see. With new rides and impressive new areas to theme park, it may be hard to figure out where to start. When you get to planning your day at the park, be sure you don’t forget about the all new “Harry Potter Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle”

The all new Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood has much to offer. With immersive rides and fun stores, it’ll feel like you entered into the world of Harry Potter. One new addition to the park is “The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle”, which opened up earlier this summer. This impressive light show is a five minute show that takes place at the heart of the Wizarding World - Hogwarts Castle. Once the sun sets, join other Harry Potter fans in front of Hogwarts Castle to see this exciting new light show. The show is centered on the four houses at Hogwarts School of Wizardry; Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Slytherin and Hufflepuff. During the show, high tech lights and special effects projectors will be used to tell an impressive story onto the outside wall of the castle. Be amazed as you see incredible projections of the raven, lion, snake and badger move across the castle.

As the light show plays out, special music that was composed just for the new show will be on at the same time. The music is meant to evoke various classic musical themes from the Harry Potter movies. In addition, the London Symphony Orchestra actually recorded the music in London! Each night, there will be a few performances of “The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle”. So if you miss the first one, don’t worry, there will be follow up performances! Be sure to plan your day at Universal Studios Hollywood accordingly so you’ll be able to see this all new, exciting show!
