During the Halloween season, the park gets an exciting makeover that everyone is sure to love. Be sure to stop at Main Street U.S.A. where there are hundreds of hand carved jack-o-lanterns lining the streets. In fact, no two pumpkins are carved the same! Various rides get halloween transformations as well such as the Haunted Mansion. During the Holiday season, the attraction turns into Haunted Mansion Holiday and characters from Tim Burton’s the Nightmare Before Christmas including Jack Skellington can be seen throughout the ride. Halloween isn’t the only season however where the park transforms. During the Christmas season, the park gets some Holiday magic as well!
Starting in November, the park transforms once again in order to prepare for the Christmas season. During this Holiday season, the park enjoys a number of family friendly events such as the Christmas Fantasy Parade. In this holiday themed parade, beloved Disney characters join Santa Claus for a merry, musical procession. Over at the It’s a Small World attraction, merry holiday songs will be played at this classic attraction. In addition, no trip to Disneyland is complete without staying for a spectacular fireworks show. During this season, enjoy the “Believe in Holiday Magic” firework presentation. Another fun holiday attraction is the opportunity to meet with Santa Claus at Disney California Adventure. Also at California Adventure is the holiday themed World of Color - Season of Light. Celebrate the holidays with this festive nighttime show that really showcases the holiday magic that Disney is known for.
