Los Angeles is not new to the music scene. In fact, the city is bursting with venues along every major area. Whatever your taste in music is, the city can deliver. If you happen to find yourself in Hollywood, here are the top 3 Hollywood music venues along Sunset Blvd that you should check out.

If you’re a bit of stickler for sound systems, The Roxy Theatre is just the place for you. The venue boasts incredible acoustics, which only adds to the experience. In fact, the venue has such good acoustics that a number of artists from Bob Marley to Bruce Springsteen have produced albums from their live tracks performed at The Roxy Theatre. You’ll find an eclectic mix of artists performing here as well. To see which artists are scheduled to perform, visit their website at www.theroxy.com

Whisky A Go-Go also boasts one of the best sound systems on the Sunset Strip. The venue’s claim to fame is the fact that they were the first to make go-go dancers suspended in cages a thing. In fact, most of the notoriety of this venue is because of past accomplishments. For example, in the 80s, they were the go to venue for punk acts like the Kinks and the Doors was even the house band at one point as well. Other major names like the Who and Led Zeppelin were regulars. If you’re a fan of these artists, a trip to Whisky A Go-Go is a great option for you to honor the music legends of the past.

The Viper Room’s heyday was probably in the 90s when Johnny Depp purchased the bar. After that, friends of the actor such as Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, Jared Leto, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christina Applegate and other young Hollywood elites were frequents here. In the early 2000s, the bar was sold and the venue lost some of it’s Hollywood charm. However, it is still a good venue offering local talent and strong musicians. To see their calendar of events, visit www.viperroom.com

Be sure to catch a concert at one of these venues when you visit Hollywood!
