From sunset west hollywood to Beverly Hills, spread the news - the Santa Monica Pier Twilight concerts are back for its 34th run at the Santa Monica Pier. This outdoor music festival is nearly as iconic as the pier itself. Every year the Twilight on the Pier concert series on in Santa Monica returns and always promises a good time. This year, the concert series presents some of the best local bands of Southern California as well unique artists from around the globe. The fall season will take place every wednesday from September 5th through October 3rd. The grand finale will take place on Sunday, October 7th.

The fall concert series begins with Latin Waves. Enjoy a night of music from Latin inspired artists from here and abroad. Artists performing on September 5th include Sister Mantos, Quitapenas, Jarina de Marco, and Orquesta Akokan. On September 12th, Australia rocks the pier. With artists representing various genres from synth to alternative, all bands have in common their native land of Australia. Artists performing include Betty Who, Touch Sensitive, Cxloe, and Death Bells. On September 19th groove to the beat of Island vibes from Reggae music with Judy Mowatt to the performance of Twilight Steel drums. Other artists include Bokante and Dj Danny Holloway. Throughout the rest of the concert series you’ll hear bands covering genres such as indie, R&B, afrobeat, bollywood, Indian pop and more.  

From September 5th through October 3rd, mark your calendars because your wednesdays will be filled with the music coming from the Santa Monica Pier. Concerts begin at 6:30 and run until 9:30pm though it is recommended to come early. At this event there will be food and drinks from the nearby vendors at the pier. Come early and explore all that the world famous Santa Monica pier has to offer.
